e-Learning is a flexible way to learn, e-learners are those people who are unable to attend regular classes because of work or personal commitments or because they live too far away from the college's campuses.
An online learner must be self-motivated and self-disciplined.
Because each student is different and has different aspirations, we allow the
students to define his own schedule and rhythm (the coach will help you).
- Session study: 3 hours maximum. If you study around 3 hours each
day (as we suggest), and spread your learning over a longer time-span, you
will learn the material more easily. Recommended study time differs from
person to person based on experience with the subject, time working in the
field and prior knowledge.
- Estimated weekly study hours: 10 hours. You should expect to
invest at least 10 hours per week working on the lessons and
assignments. Keep in mind that the 10 hours per week are "virtual
classroom hours" (i.e. the time that you would normally spend in
the classroom). You will also need to spend time doing your homework and
working on assignments. The good news is that you don't need to warm up
the car and come to the college! You can attend class from the comfort of
your own home.
- 4-5 Days / week.
- Can I work ahead and complete the course sooner? If you are
extremely self-motivated and self-disciplined, you can work your way
through the course at your own pace. If you choose this option, you can
access the lessons and work through each unit/lesson on your own.
If you have questions:
- Read at the e-Campus the Learning units Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) and utilities. This section serves as a glossary and provides a more detailed explanation of some terms discussed in the learning unit.
- Ask your Tutor.
